Diana Daly's Haven


	In the fall of 2002, Londi Moore supervised the conversion of a pole barn into a dog barn. A lot of volunteer labor and donations went into this project. The blocks are being laid in the photo at left. Note the “super women.” That’s Londi Moore, Leah Stanley, and June Meyer lifting the blocks that are being laid by Gene Riddle and his crew. 	The dog barn was finished in the winter of 2002, just before Diana Daly, our tireless volunteer, passed away after a long battle with cancer. We dedicated the barn in her memory. On the left, (first row, left to right) Donna Taylor, Heidi Krupp (director), Christine McDonnell (veterinarian), Pam Perez (president), friend of Diana, (back row) Judy Pfister (vice president), Tom Egler, Paulette Egler (board member), and Ron Stoessell (board member).
	The new dog barn has a place for washing and preparing food at the northwest end which serves as the base of operations for the daily work of feeding and caring for the animals. Christine and Judy with Londi Moore (Treasurer) inside the barn, in front of the indoor-outdoor kennels.
